Vodafone pay as you go customers will get a free-of-charge international roaming allowance this summer, allowing them to use their phone overseas without risk of racking up extra charges or signing up for a roaming add-on.

Throughout July and August Vodafone pay as you go customers get 100 minutes, 100 texts and 500MB of data to use in 40 European locations, including Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Portugal and Spain, within Vodafone’s inclusive roaming zone.

Of these locales, 34 offer 4G. You can see the full list of destinations and whether you’ll get a 3G or 4G service at the foot of the page.

Vodafone has also confirmed that its £20 and £30 Big Value Bundles now give customers double data in the UK as well. Check out the revised allowances below:
